In the beginning of December, TITUS researchers including CEO Prof. Dr. Uwe Meinberg visited Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) in Amman, Jordania. They were introduced into HTU’s current work in the field of autonomous systems and were also able to visit a local incubator as well as Sager Drones, a local start-up in the field of drone development.

Both parties – the HTU and TITUS – demonstrated their commitment for future joint research projects in the field of autonomous systems via a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was signed between Prof. Ismael Al-Hinti, the president of the HTU, and Prof. Dr. Uwe Meinberg, the CEO of TITUS Research.

The partnership includes the realisation of common research projects, the possibility of apprenticeships for HTU students and possible collaboration on preparing joint funding proposals for research opportunities.

This is TITUS’ first cooperation with a country from the middle east and we are looking forward to the joint activities that will start in 2022.
