“Logistics on the move along sustainable routes” is the motto of this year’s ShortSeaShipping Days, which are taking place today and tomorrow in Lübeck’s Congress and Music Hall. The organisers are the ShortSeaShipping Inland Waterway Promotion Center and the Lübeck Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
A comprehensive congress programme on topics such as securing skilled labour, new markets for inland navigation and the future of RoRo transport awaits the participants. The patron of the event is Prof. Kurt Bodewig, European Coordinator Motorways of the Sea of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport. In his presentation he will inform about the European Maritime Space – the new policy of the European Union for Motorways of the Sea.
Parallel to the conference programme, there will be a marketplace with over 35 participating companies and organisations, where TITUS Research will present itself, especially with the BalticFutureProject.
