Rail BB

At the beginning of 2021, representatives from business, research and science – including TITUS Research – founded the Railway Areas Innovation Lab – Berlin Brandenburg association, or RAIL-BB for short. The topics addressed by the association include the challenges of supplying inner cities from peripheral freight transport centres and mobility in rural areas. With the BahnTechnologie Campus (BTC) in the Havelland district, the association offers space for these multifaceted research topics. The services offered at the BTC are flanked by Deutsche Eisenbahn Service AG (DESAG), which provides around 440 kilometres of track infrastructure as a test field in the immediate vicinity of the BTC.
